Day 12: Spirit Lake, IA
Quiet day here today. Dad and Uncle Roger are out for a drive looking at birds. Auntie is working, and I am blogging. Tonight, we are having Gramma Hoffman’s farm-style goulash for supper and a nice Italian red wine. Of course, Cherry Garcia for dessert!
Homemade goulash from Gramma Hoffman’s recipe: ground beef, elbow noodles, onions, stewed tomatoes, tomato juice. Serve with parmesan cheese and a little ground black pepper.
