Day 37: Yardley, PA

As promised, I’m going to let you know who won game 7 last night between the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Minnesota Wild. (For the correct answer, see the photo below at far left.)

Spent all day today in the company of the lovely Wund Family: Matt, Jill, Olivia and Maya. Non-human inhabitants include Mercury the Leopard gecko, Luna the gerbil, and Australian Shepherd Spencer.

Also visiting in preparation for a fish-related field trip to Alaska is Dale Stevens, one of Susan’s grad students who is working on his PhD.

Just hung out most of the day, talking and laughing, and they were kind enough to feed us twice: sandwiches and chips for lunch, and grilled brats and chicken — and delicious grilled veggies and french fries — for supper. (Thanks!)

The Golden Knights won 6-2.

Tonight back in the hotel — had to park at the end of the Earth — and tomorrow we drive to Long Island to briefly see Dylan’s house, then back to Petersham.
