Day 15: Pekin, IL

After a refreshing night’s sleep in Pekin, the big news today is that Uncle Gary took me out looking for a new laptop today, and we found one at Best Buy. It’s an HP Spectre x360, and it even has a stylus, because the screen doubles as a tablet! I’ve got 16 GB of RAM and 1 whole TB of solid state hard drive (“wicked fast” according to my uncle). And I can’t even come close to filling up, no matter how many photos I upload. YAY!

Spent most of the day installing programs (the entire Adobe suite and all the Office programs). Then it took me several hours to get my 6 emails to dump into Outlook. (Most of that time was waiting for my emails to download. Thank goodness Uncle Gary has unlimited data!)
